Viagra Connect® is a treatment for Erectile Dysfunction (ED) available from the pharmacy without a doctor’s prescription. Viagra connect contains 50mg of sildenafil. It is available to patients over 18 years directly from Ballybrack Medical Hall Pharmacy.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient to have sex, which can put a strain on relationships.
Viagra Connect® is an oral tablet based treatment that is quickly absorbed – it takes 30–60 minutes to work. Do not take more than 1 tablet a day.
To put in a request order for Viagra Connect you will first need to fill out the online form below. We will review your form and the pharmacist will contact you to let you that you meet the requirements needed to be able to dispense this treatment. A consultation with the pharmacist is required before any supply of Viagra Connect® can be made, you only need to ask for a pharmacist and tell them why you are there. We have discrete & private consultation rooms in our pharmacy where a swift consultation will take place where we will simply ask about any current medication and health conditions to ensure Viagra Connect® is a safe and appropriate treatment for you. Once nothing has changed since your last Connect purchase we can arrange a repeat script for this treatment, so the consultation will only be once.

Viagra is a prescription-only medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis, which helps men achieve and maintain an erection during sexual activity. Viagra belongs to a group of medicines known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors. These medicines relax the smooth muscles in blood vessels supplying blood to the penis, allowing for increased blood flow. Viagra is available in both tablet and capsule form, and should be taken only when prescribed by a doctor. The recommended starting dose is 50 mg, and the maximum recommended dose is 100 mg. This medicine should not be taken more than once in a 24-hour period. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember and then continue as normal. Do not take more or less of it than is recommended by your doctor. Avoid taking Viagra more than once a day, and do not exceed the recommended dose. The Australian Pharmaceutical Industry (API) says it has been fined $200 million for illegally selling unlicensed erectile dysfunction drugs. A total of six of the drugs seized were found to be counterfeit.
The erectile dysfunction drugs are used to treat male sexual performance problems, including impotence or inability to get and keep an erection. These products are sold under the brand name Viagra and have been found to be less effective than the drugs of the same class.
The drugs were purchased in Australia’s most lucrative market, and the fine was imposed after the counterfeiters were found to be counterfeit. The products were purchased with Australian online pharmacies, which are based in India. The online pharmacy was licensed in the Australian state of Victoria.
The tablets and capsules seized were labelled to contain sildenafil, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction. They are not counterfeit.
Sildenafil is also a prescription drug. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis. The pills are taken orally and are used to treat erectile dysfunction. The pills are not regulated for their safety and efficacy.
“The government has continued to enforce the sale and supply of unlicensed and counterfeit Viagra,” said Peter Jackson, the director of the Pharmaceutical Services Division of the Australian Government’s Department of Health.
“We are committed to maintaining our drug supply standards, and we are aware of several cases where counterfeit products have been found to contain dangerous ingredients or incorrect dosage forms.”
In one of the more serious cases, a counterfeit Viagra product was found to contain “potentially harmful” ingredients such as undeclared nitrates.
The counterfeit product was found to contain sildenafil, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction. It is not regulated for its safety and effectiveness.
“We will continue to monitor and assess the safety and efficacy of our products, and we are committed to addressing the concerns raised by counterfeiters,” said Mr Jackson.
The pills are not regulated for their safety and effectiveness.
A pack of the counterfeit Viagra is expected to be seized by the Australian Government’s Border Force on Wednesday.
Tara Lee, a spokeswoman for Australia’s Border Force, said: “Australia has a duty to protect our borders. Viagra, like all medications, comes with risks and side effects. We continue to monitor these cases, as well as those from other countries and we look to ensure that our products are used responsibly.“At our local pharmacy we stock our range of ED tablets and the supply of these products is confidential.”
A pharmacist in Melbourne, Mr Jackson, said: “The Australian Government has continued to enforce the sale and supply of unlicensed and counterfeit Viagra, and we are aware of several cases where counterfeit products have been found to contain dangerous ingredients or incorrect dosage forms.”
The Australian Pharmaceutical Industry has a responsibility to ensure products are used responsibly and appropriately. The Pharmaceutical Services Division is responsible for the safety and efficacy of medicines and the enforcement of regulations in order to safeguard the health and well-being of Australian consumers.

Its policy is to promote the use of unlicensed and counterfeit medicines in Australia, including products marketed for sale under the brand name Viagra. It is the Department’s responsibility to ensure that the products of the same class and strength are used appropriately and effectively and properly.
